Our Repertoire
Wyvern Big Band (WBB) is a "swing" big band. But we also dabble in other jazz styles of chart including Latin, Rock, Rock Funk, Blues, and Bossa Nova.Tempos range from slow (ballads) to quite fast.
By its very nature, WBB can't play "background" music (unless you would like us to play in a trench fifty metres from the intended audience). We're fairly loud (but not so loud that the windows rattle or you can't hear yourself think!).
Wyvern Big Band has over 90 charts in its library. That is not to say we could play all of them in one performance - there are limitations to as what we can do (we're only human).
